THERAPY
Psychotherapy refers to the structured, goal-focused way of supporting you to manage emotional, behavioural, or relationship difficulties. The therapy process begins with an assessment, which allows us to build a shared understanding of your concerns. Through regular sessions we then work collaboratively through a variety of approaches including building self-awareness, processing difficult thoughts and feelings, and learning and practicing new skills.
My therapeutic style is warm, reflective and supportive of your strengths. I customise my approach for each person’s unique personality and circumstances. It is grounded in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy but informed by a range of psychological theories and evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and attachment theory.
